Xanté showcases the latest in digital printing technology at drupa 2012

Comprehensive display features new Memjet-powered Excelagraphix 4200; full suite of world-renowned Xanté Ilumina technology; demos of iQueue 6 digital
color workflow; and more

Mobile, Ala. — March 28, 2012 — At drupa in Hall 5, Stand D36, Xanté will show its powerful line-up of digital equipment at drupa, including new Excelagraphix 4200, powered by Memjet; the Ilumina 650 DPP with feeder/conveyer; Ilumina DEP GS; Ilumina DPP TL; PlateMaker 5; iQueue 6 digital color workflow technology; and much more.

A digital display for the masses

Xanté’s drupa display in Hall 5, Stand D36 encompasses 90m2 and, aside from the impressive digital technology being shown, live demonstrations and eye-catching samples will be given away at the booth.

Robert Ross, Xanté Founder and CEO, says, ““There is literally something for everyone at drupa this year, from Xanté,” Ross continues. “Schedule a meeting with us and we’ll help you target your direct needs with one of our cutting edge, affordable digital solutions.”

A sampling of technology on the Xanté drupa menu includes:

Excelagraphix 4200 powered by Memjet

The Excelagraphix 4200 changes everything the market knows about high speed wide format printing because it prints high impact, full color, large format pieces on a wide range of substrates at “screaming fast” speeds, and at a price point that’s affordable for fast ROI. The product is the first commercial solution in the world specifically powered by Memjet wide format color printing components and technologies.

The Xanté Excelagraphix 4200 is a 42-inch wide inkjet printing system that also brings this unrivaled speed, performance and affordability for short-run and variable data color printing to packaging, including folding carton and corrugated cardboard. Xanté’s exclusive substrate support gives customers the ability to print indoor signage and design graphics through a simple print path height adjustment on the Excelagraphix 4200. Xanté anticipates that first commercial shipments will be in June of this year.

NEW iQueue 6 digital workflow technology

A leading pre-production workflow designed specifically for Xanté digital color print systems, iQueue 6 is especially optimized for the new Memjet-powered Excelagraphix 4200.

Xanté iQueue 6 possesses the most advanced color intelligence available for Memjet-powered output, and makes it easy to manage multiple projects, make independent CMYK / density adjustments, match critical spot colors; and select the desired feed, media type, resolution, linescreen, and dot shape. Users can also track press consumables, multiple run counts and job cost from a single user workstation.

Ilumina Series

Ilumina 650 Digital Production Press

Xante’s Ilumina 650 GS Digital Color Systems are complete print solutions that foster production of high volume full color sheets, cards, envelopes, brochures, banners and more. The machines can print on a wide variety of media from text weights to extremely heavy card stocks (up to 32pt), textured stocks, metallics, and label stocks. Ilumina 650 GS Systems are available in two production models, and are driven by the automated iQueue Color Smart Workflow.

Ilumina DEP GS

The popular Ilumina GS Print Systems are complete high-production digital color solutions that meet the demand for fast full color printing. Features include high definition color technology, the iQueue Color Smart workflow, and high volume feeders / delivery conveyors. The ILUMINA Digital Envelope Press GS delivers fast full color envelopes, sheets and cards, and provides full color printing on a wide variety of media and sheet sizes.

Ilumina DPP TL

The versatile Digital Production Press, combined with the high volume, top loading feeder, allows your printer to run continuously, without delay. It holds up to 500 envelopes as well as sheets, cards, and other media.

PlateMaker 5 CTP System

PlateMaker 5 is an affordable solution that produces high quality, high resolution polyester plates and film without processing or chemicals. The complete CTP solution features the iQueue Ultimate Workflow that automates prepress production, and streamlines the entire platemaking process.

Jump on the queue

Ross concludes, “I challenge you, as a member of the digital printing industry that, if we do not have a solution that meets your direct need, we will work closely with you, based on yours – and the market’s – feedback, to get that new technology in our queue. Xanté is constantly looking after our market niche by offering cutting edge technology at an affordable price point, working to help customers maximize their business.”

Xanté is now scheduling booth appointments for attendees and media with its senior level executives for a more personalized opportunity at the show.
