    SpeedSetter® 300 (2-up portrait) computer-to-film (CTF) systems are professional imaging solutions designed specifically for producing extremely high resolution films for commercial offset and flexo-label prepress environments. Tightly integrated with the award-winning Symphony Workflow or Symphony Flexo Workflow and an optional film processor, these complete turnkey solutions feature a SpeedSetter 300 internal drum imagesetter.

    Patented Virtual Drum Technology

    The SpeedSetter series imagesetters utilize a reliable 5mW red laser diode that produces a small spot size (10 microns at 2000+ dpi) for clean, consistent screens and sharp lines across the entire width of the page. The patented virtual drum design delivers internal drum quality and accuracy (+/- .0005″ repeatability typical) at a fraction of the cost of traditional internal drum designs.

     

    Compact and Efficient

    The SpeedSetter imagesetter is a true tabletop model measuring only 34″ W x 14.5″ D x 16″ H and weighs only 90 lbs. Offered with an optional Vastech film processor, the SpeedSetter imagesetter requires no special electrical service or plumbing and can image a variety of visible red-sensitive polyester films and paper. Use the available daylight safe, take-up cassette to carry your imaged film to your film processor.

    Award-Winning, Multi-Device Workflow

    SpeedSetter CTF systems are driven by Symphony Workflow or Symphony Flexo Workflow. Both are Adobe® PostScript® 3™ RIPs that offer a multi-task, multi-device workflow designed to increase offset and Flexo Pro prepress production, and drive all your PostScript and TIFF-in devices in a shop including: platesetters, imagesetters, laser printers, digital copiers, inkjet printers, plotters, and digital presses.
