1. Launch the Macintosh using OS X.

Note: You can boot up using either OS X v10.1 or OS 9.2.1. See your Mac OS X documentation for details.

2. Log in as admin (administrator). This is the default login type, unless you have set up multiple users. If you have multiple users, the first account created is the administrator account.

3. Insert the XANTÉ Utilities disk for your printer.

4. Open the Printer Descriptions folder on the utilities disk.

5. Go to Library/ Printers/ PPDs/ Contents/ Resources/ en.lproj.

6. Drag the appropriate printer description into the en.lproj folder.
