BSP Filing Systems manufactures and produces a wide range of filing solutions. When you walk inside BSP Filing, you’ll find an assembly line of employees die-cutting, folding, binding, running offset presses and digital presses, while graphic designers work on prepress setup and creative designs. Previously they were using their large offset press for a majority of their folder printing. They purchased their first ILUMINA in 2008, and were able to drastically decrease setup and downtime by offloading jobs onto the ILUMINA. Since then, they’ve purchased three more ILUMINA digital print systems to add to their current production facility. They’ve come to rely on their Xante equipment for a large portion of their digital printing needs. “We run the heck of it and it keeps going. We can have it up and running within five minutes. Right now we have four ILUMINA’s. We purchased the first one seven years ago, and it gave us the ability to do digital printing which we couldn’t do before. You can learn what took me and other years, in an afternoon with iQueue. The iQueue software coupled with our designers allows us to work with our designers to put those jobs in advance and we have zero downtime. That’s how we’re getting 2 million impressions a year. These machines never shut down. They run 8 or 10 hours a day, every day of the week, every day of the year.” says Darin, Operations Manager at BSP Filing.
