Xante is making an exciting comeback to the Computer-to-Plate printing industry with the upcoming release of the new ILUMINA Heavyweight Champion with PlateMaker 7 Inside. This software update features a process-free, chemical-free, polyester CTP system that allows users to print on versatile Myriad 2 polyester plates. These plate making capabilities are contained entirely inside of the ILUMINA Heavyweight Champion Digital Print System, and produces higher quality plates by eliminating background toning and overspray. PlateMaker 7 will be an optional feature included in iQueue XI Workflow, the newest version of Xante’s iQueue Workflow series. Of course, the ILUMINA Heavyweight Champion remains fully equipped with the original ultra-thick printing capabilities on a wide array of media including letterhead, envelopes, NCR, extra thick card stocks, product packaging, POP displays, table tents, door hangers, menus, oversized banners, (up to 13” x 52”) and more. As always, PlateMaker 7 will be offered as a FREE upgrade to all existing ILUMINA Heavyweight Champion Digital Print System users.
