Boro Printing has been in business since 1977. This family run operation was started by Gary nearly 40 years ago, now he run his New Jersey shop with his two sons that work alongside him. Over the years they have grown their customer base to include a wide variety of people and businesses. Within the last ten years they began to seriously consider bringing in a digital press to offload some of their jobs from their offset press. Gary started researching digital presses and attended several conferences and trade shows and finally decided on the Impressia Digital Multi-Media Press and Enterprise High Speed Feed System. They wanted a digital press that was easy to operate and would also minimize downtime.

“About 10 years ago we decided to get into the digital printing field. Prior to that we were an offset shop. The last piece that we needed was the digital envelope press. The Impressia and the feeding system is very easy to operate. The machine does a quality job. You can’t tell the difference between them and offset with the four color jobs. It’s just a matter of pushing a button and out they come, it’s magic. It’s been a real dream to have it here, it’s taken a load off of us. There’s always a worry about how am I going to get these envelopes ready and how am I going to get this job ready for delivery. The Impressia has streamlined our operation and made things so simple. We just click a button and out they come. Ultimately, it’s doing to pay for itself in a short amount of time. The return on the investment is going to be in a year. In a course of a year we may do a million envelopes, windows, regulars, you name it, it’s a complete mix. No more ink in the hands is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” says Gary, owner of Boro Printing.
