An integral part of XANTÉ’s Impressia CTP technology is the plate itself. The patent-pending, non-photosensitive Aspen Metal Plates allow for a process-free, chemical-free, no rinse workflow. This new technology links traditional anodized and grained aluminum plates with Impressia’s Imaging system. Metal Imaging Technology enables imaging directly to metal substrates, making the imaging process environmentally and press-friendly. To ensure strength and durability, the Impressia Metal PlateSetter uses Radiant Exposure Technology, a new technology that incorporates high-intensity radiant light to instantly expose the Aspen Metal Plates.
XANTÉ’s design team, with 19 years of Adobe ® Postscript ® 3 RIP development, creates a RIP that is reliable, fast and efficient for the Impressia Metal PlateSetter. Impressia’s Clean Plate Technology creates clear and clean imaging, minimizing toning, scumming, and picture framing on the press. Halftone Calibration Technology allows the user to quickly and accurately calibrate the gamma curve, bringing out amazing detail. X-ACT (XANTÉ’s patented Accurate Calibration Technology) enables the user to calibrate the dimensional accuracy of the Impressia in all three directions.
